We produce a wide range of double ridge and rectangular waveguide components and coaxial components for frequencies from DC to 40GHz. These include:- horn antennas, rotary joints, slip-ring assemblies, waveguide switches, OMTs, attenuators, TEM cells, filters, couplers, transitions, millimetre wave components, adaptors, terminations and custom waveguide assemblies. All the waveguide and coaxial components are designed and manufactured from our base in Basingstoke, Hampshire, UK.
Link Microtek’s specialises in the design and manufacture of infra-red (IR) digital secure communications systems for industrial and defence applications. The Azdec brand of Infra-Com systems provides secure and interference-free short-range mobile voice communications, particularly suitable to avoid eavesdropping or interception or in areas of high electrical or acoustic noise and intrinsically safe areas. The system allows operators to speak to each other or externally, wire free and with complete mobility without the need to use unsecure radio devices. Typical ‘secure’ applications would be on a naval ship bridge, ship operations room, air traffic control tower (ATC), secure training facility, sensitive comms areas / shelters to provide mobile and completely secure, interception proof communications. Typical EMC / EMI electrical emission comms solutions would be for ship machinery spaces such as engine and generator rooms, or ship refuelling areas (RAS), munitions and oil or gas facilities.
